Tamaki Campus

University Campus Masterplan assessed the redevelopment potential of an existing university campus, establishing a framework for future intensification while responding to existing buildings, movement networks and the surrounding urban context.

The proposal balanced development capacity with urban design objectives, strengthening connections to key activity centres, public spaces and the broader landscape while protecting important view corridors. Particular emphasis was placed on creating a connected and active community environment.

Led by Graham Crust during his tenure at Beca Architects, the project demonstrates his capability in large-scale masterplanning, urban regeneration and long-term development strategy.
