GCA Studio builds on an architectural firm established in 2003, entering a new chapter under its current name in 2025. Following an extended period in which founder Graham Crust pursued other opportunities, the Auckland-based architecture and interior design studio continues its focus on hotels, resorts, leisure and lifestyle destinations. Its approach brings together human-centred design, masterplanning and development strategy.

GCA works as a small, highly involved studio that partners closely with its clients. Each project is led by a director or associate, supported by a dedicated team of architects and designers. The studio’s integrated services span architecture, interior design and masterplanning, with particular focus on early-stage development planning and conceptual design.

Based in Grey Lynn, Auckland, GCA Studio creates considered environments that bring design ambition and commercial rigour together, from the earliest idea through to delivery.
