NoMA

NoMA is a wellness-focused retreat located in the Matakana countryside, designed to provide an accessible escape from Auckland’s urban environment. The development comprises 16 villas supported by a health club, day spa, swimming pool and gymnasium, creating a destination centred on relaxation, wellbeing and short-stay accommodation.

Extensive landscaping and carefully curated outdoor environments are integral to the guest experience, strengthening the connection between accommodation, recreation and the surrounding rural setting.

Developed for the Matakana Tourism Group, the project demonstrates GCA Studio’s capability in creating wellness and lifestyle destinations that combine hospitality, recreation and landscape within a commercially viable tourism offering.
