Te Hapua Bay Resort

Te Hapua Bay Resort was conceived as a carefully managed rural resort founded on environmental stewardship, long-term sustainability and a commitment to enhancing the wider landscape. Developed under the leadership of Graham Crust, the project sought to establish a lasting legacy while setting a higher benchmark for rural destination development.

The masterplan integrated architecture, landscape and artistic interventions within a framework informed by the site’s history, natural systems and landform. Particular emphasis was placed on creating a strong connection between people and place.

The project demonstrates GCA Studio’s capability in destination planning, combining environmental sensitivity, design excellence and long-term stewardship within a cohesive development vision.
